my younger sis moved into our digs, and so far it has been great! we have extra hands to help, i have a friend to talk to when no one is home! the day she moved in was our first scheduled bi-monthly date night, and we thought we'd include her in the fun this time since she'll be living with us for the next 9 months.
andrew took on the planning of this one, and he left us with no clues as to what we'd be doing that evening. once she was all settled, he said that my sister could pick the restaurant we were to eat at and that we'd to wear long pants, tennis shoes and bring bug spray. i didn't like where this was heading. we thought we were heading to the mountains to star gaze or something, but that seemed a little weird. my next guess was adventure golf in westminster, and andrew had no idea what that was, so i figured that guess was wrong too. finally he told us we were going to boondocks! its a fun place in broomfield that has go-karts, putt-putt, laser tag, bumper boats and an arcade. our activity would be putt-putt.
now i don't claim to be good at this game, but i started off pretty well. we def thought that since andrew is an avid golf player he was going to win, well we were wrong. he must have had an off day! then i got so bad that the others had to play with a handicap (one handed or opposite handed) for me to catch up. overall my sister won, me in close second (one-point) and andrew in last! we had a good-ol time overall!
